Ranked

Ranked (instant-runoff) is the honest way to pick, among three or more options, the one a real majority backs — where a plain Poll would only report "most votes". Members order the options by preference. If no option is the first choice of more than half the ballots, the lowest option is eliminated and its ballots transfer to their next preference; this repeats until one option holds a majority. When two options tie for elimination, the one with fewer first-preference votes goes; if still tied, a fixed order seeded from the proposal decides it — reproducible and disclosed. The result is an elected winner with the round-by-round tallies shown.
