Consensus
Any reasoned objection blocks the proposal; stand-asides do not. The shipped block-based strategy.
Consensus asks "can everyone accept this?" — the bar to block is low: a single sustained, reasoned objection stops the proposal (the −1 variant tolerates one). Stand-asides register reservation without blocking. When blocked, a consensus method can escalate to a configured fallback (e.g. a two-thirds majority), otherwise the outcome is "blocked". This is distinct from consent, which blocks only on a validated paramount objection.
