Consent
Passes unless someone raises a validated paramount objection.
Consent (from sociocracy) is not the same as consensus. It asks "does anyone have a paramount objection?" — and an objection blocks only if a facilitator validates it as legitimate (unsafe, against the community’s constitution, or harmful), not merely a preference. Agreement is not required: a proposal can pass with no active support as long as no validated objection stands. While any objection is awaiting review the proposal is provisional; an optional minimum-consent threshold can require a floor of active support. Distinct from consensus, which blocks on any reasoned objection with no review step.
